Aligning ball bearing function:

The aligning ability can compensate for alignment error, shaft deformation and bearing seat deformation. Aligning ball bearings are suitable for transmission bearings where the shaft and the upper shell are hard to center and the shaft is prone to deflection.
Aligning ball bearing is a double-row ball bearing with spherical outer raceway and two deep groove raceway in the inner ring, which has aligning performance. It is mainly used to bear radial load, while bearing radial load, it can also bear a small amount of axial load, but generally can not bear pure axial load, and its limit speed is lower than that of deep groove ball bearings. This type of bearing is mostly used on double support shafts that are prone to bending under load, and in parts where the double seat holes cannot guarantee strict coaxiality, but the relative inclination between the inner ring center line and the outer ring center line shall not exceed 3 degrees.

Self aligning ball bearing is a kind of bearing with spherical ball between the inner ring of two raceways and the outer ring with spherical raceway.
The curvature center of the outer ring raceway surface is consistent with the bearing center, so it has the same self-aligning function as the automatic self-aligning ball bearing. When the shaft and shell are flexed, it can be adjusted automatically without increasing the bearing load. Self aligning roller bearing can bear radial load and axial load in two directions. Radial load capacity, suitable for heavy load, shock load. The inner diameter of the inner ring is a taper hole bearing, which can be directly installed. Or it can be installed on the cylindrical shaft by using the fastening sleeve and the dismounting cylinder. The self-aligning ball bearing has cylindrical hole and conical hole. The cage is made of steel plate and synthetic resin. There are two kinds of bore in self-aligning ball bearings: cylindrical bore and conical bore. The taper of conical inner hole is 1:12 or 1:30. In order to enhance the lubrication performance of the bearing, an annular oil groove and three oil holes are machined on the outer ring of the bearing.
Installation Instructions
Aligning ball bearing installation method:
First, disassembly:
1, first loosen the locking screw on the bearing eccentric sleeve with the hex wrench, and then insert a small iron rod into the countersunk hole on the eccentric sleeve of the top cover, and loosen the eccentric sleeve against the rotating direction of the shaft.
2. Loosen the bolt fixing the bearing seat. Remove the bearing from the shaft along with the housing. Note that before removing the bearing seat at one end of the shaft, the bearing seat bolt at the other end of the shaft should be loosened to avoid damage to the bearings at both ends.
Second, installation:
1. Before installing aligning ball bearings on the shaft, the fixed pin of the bearing jacket must be removed first, and the surface of the journal should be polished smooth and clean, and oil should be applied to the journal to prevent rust and lubrication (allowing the bearing to rotate slightly on the shaft).
2. Apply lubricating oil to the mating surface of the bearing seat and bearing, and load the bearing into the bearing seat. Then the assembled bearing and the NSK bearing seat are placed on the shaft and pushed to the required position for installation.
3, the bolt fixing the bearing seat should not be tightened first, so that the bearing jacket can rotate in the bearing seat. Also install the other end of the aligning ball bearing and seat on the same shaft, turn the shaft a few turns, so that the TIMKEN bearing itself automatically finds the right position. Then tighten the bearing seat bolt.
4, install eccentric sleeve. First set the eccentric sleeve on the eccentric step of the bearing inner sleeve, and tighten it with the hand direction of rotation of the shaft, and then insert the small iron rod or resist the countersink hole on the eccentric sleeve, and knock with the hand hammer in the direction of rotation of the shaft
